Khangar - active volcano in the central part of Kamchatka with an altitude of 2000 m. Last eruption was about 500 years ago. A huge crater of the volcano of several km is full with water and create a picturesque lake of 150 m in depth with two small islands.
Khangar is announced as a Monument of nature of landscape character. In the beautiful caldera is situated a lake considered as one of the wonderful lakes in Kamchatka. On the slopes of the caldera there are manifestations of nice red obsidiants (volcanic glass) with unusual drawings.
Duration of the excursion – 40-60 minutes.
Healing quality of mineral waters of Timonovskiy hot springs is well known for a long time. Bathing in them is a wonderful opportunity to rest and relax after a productive excursion.
· Tours are organized from July to October.
· Total duration of the excursion – 4,5 – 5 hours.
· Lunch on the route (lunch – boxes).
· Each group is accompanied by a skilled guide.
Those who would like to swim in hot springs should have bathing suits.
